You can’t remember the last time you didn’t feel on edge and it feels like most of your time is spent lost in thought about how different scenarios in different areas of your life may play out.
You don’t want to feel blindsided by something unexpected happening so you spend time thinking about all the situations that can happen in the future so you feel prepared to handle them and avoid being caught off guard. All this time spend lost in thought sometimes keeps you up at night or makes it hard to focus on important areas in your life. Maybe sometimes you feel the effects of your thinking on your physical being. You find yourself feeling mentally exhausted.
I offer a compassionate space to guide you along this therapeutic journey where together we will get to the root of your stress, worries, or fears. I work with you to uncover your unique response to external triggers and identify areas in which your internal response can be strengthened to mitigate the impacts of the stressors around you that you may not have control over. You’ll leave out sessions feeling more insightful and capable of managing the distressing thoughts that show up in your life.
